Leopold Tool & Machine was envisioned by Matthew T. Leopold, a seasoned machinist and mechanical designer, following the Covid Pandemic and the supply chain break downs that followed. The global marketplace was failing, and manufacturers could no longer rely on suppliers spread across the globe to meet their production needs. Smaller, local and adaptive suppliers were needed to support large manufacturers and the overall economy. Matthew wanted to build a company to fill this void. LTM would be constructed with his 20 years of job shop experience supporting industries including steel mills, food processing, automotive, oil and gas, chemical processing and packaging, plastics, agriculture and many more.
